What feels the same
The core is familiar: three shapes, place them anywhere they fit, clear space before the board locks. No timer, short rounds, easy to pick up with one hand.
What feels different
Geometry changes how shapes fit
On a square grid a shape fits the same way everywhere. On a ring board the cells are curved, and inner rings are smaller than outer ones, so the same shape plays differently depending on where you drop it.
Gravity rewards planning
When an inner ring clears, the outer rings drop in. A board that looks messy can collapse into a run of clears if you set it up, so you think a move or two ahead about what will fall where.
Two clear directions
Rings go around, lines go out from the center. Mixing both is how big combos happen.
Who will like Spinnin!
Players who know grid block puzzles well and want a fresh board to master, and anyone who likes a calm puzzle with an occasional chain reaction. If you only want a classic square grid, Block Blast and similar games are the better match.
Other well known block puzzles
The grid block puzzle family also includes games such as 1010! and Woodoku, which play on square boards. Spinnin! is one of very few that place shapes on a round board.
